What The Arcane Codex app collects and why.

This policy explains what The Arcane Codex app (“the App”) collects and why. The App is offered by Obsidian Media Group, LLC. The website has its own separate privacy policy.
What we collect

We don’t collect your location, contacts, photos or payment card details. Google Play handles payments, and we only receive a record of what was bought. The App has no ads and doesn’t track you across other apps or websites.
Service providers
We use Google Play (payments), RevenueCat (purchase records) and Google Firebase (sign-in and cloud saves) to run the App. They process data for us under their own privacy terms. We don’t sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Children
The App is for people 13 and older and isn’t directed at children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 gave us personal information, we’ll delete it. Parents can contact us at the address below.
Your choices and rights
You can change your display name in Settings. You can delete your account and data in Settings → Legal & account, or at /arcane-codex/delete-account. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your data. Email us to use those rights.
Deletion and retention
When you delete your account, we delete your account and game data within 30 days. Purchase records may be kept longer where the law or Google Play requires it, for example for tax and fraud prevention.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your login private.
Changes
If we change this policy in an important way, we’ll tell you in the App.
