If you subscribe, you provide an email address and may provide a first name. That information is sent directly to Mailchimp to manage the mailing list and deliver author news. Mailchimp processes it under its own privacy terms.

If you contact Katey Rae by email, the information in your message is used to read and respond to your enquiry.

The website’s hosting services may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time.

The entrance remembers within your current browser session whether you have entered the site. This preference is stored in session storage and is removed when that browser session ends.

Only if you accept in the cookie banner, the website loads the Paramount Ads Manager pixel, which sends a site-visit event (page address, referring page, time, and information your browser provides) to Paramount to measure advertising. Declining, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal, keeps it off. This may be considered “sharing” for cross-context advertising under some state privacy laws; you can opt out at any time via “Cookie Preferences” in the footer. Personal information is not sold for money.

Personal information is shared only with services needed to operate the website, the mailing list, and (with consent) advertising measurement, or when required by law. Links to the shop, publisher, and social platforms take you to websites with their own privacy practices.

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact katey.rae@katey-rae-author.site and it will be removed.

Every email includes an unsubscribe option. You may also ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you provided by emailing katey.rae@katey-rae-author.site.
