There are readers who finish a chapter and continue immediately to the next one.
There are also readers who finish a chapter, turn backward three pages, reread one suspicious sentence, search for a name they remember seeing earlier, and begin developing a theory.
The Library is especially for the second group.
Although the first group is welcome too.
What Is the Library?
The Library is the reader connection point for Katey Rae and The Arcane Odyssey.
It is where I can let you know when something new has appeared without requiring you to wander through Zephyr's checking every shelf yourself.
New Journal entries.
Book announcements.
Trailers.
Character features.
World updates.
Spoiler-safe lore.
Behind-the-book material.
Release information.
And, as the series grows, perhaps a few things that do not fit neatly into any of those categories.
What It Will Not Be
Joining should not mean surrendering your inbox to constant messages.
I would rather send something when there is actually something worth opening.
The goal is to extend the experience of the books and keep readers connected to what is happening around them.
Not to become noise.
As the Book Takes Shape
With The Awakening moving closer to release, there will be more to share over the coming weeks.
The website itself will continue developing.
New pieces of the world will appear.
The Journal will grow.
And the first book will move closer to leaving my hands and entering yours.
If you would like to follow that journey, the Library doors are opening.
I promise the shelves are mostly harmless.
If you've read Chapter One and want to hold the whole story in your hands, the Signed First Edition of The Awakening is open for preorder. There are only 50 copies, and I'll sign and number each one myself once the books arrive from the printer, with an optional personal inscription if you'd like one. It's my first book, so every copy matters to me. If you'd rather keep reading for free, subscribe to The Zephyr Chronicle for lore, behind-the-scenes notes and release news. Either way, thank you for stepping into the library.
